About MAKOR Architecture

Founded in 2021 by Luis Rodolfo Macias Diaz and Duane Addy, MAKOR Architecture is a dynamic design practice dedicated to forging meaningful connections—between people and place, structure and landscape, culture and environment. Our work is shaped by careful listening, rigorous collaboration, and a deep respect for the natural and built contexts in which we design.

With a growing presence across Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario, MAKOR Architecture embraces cutting-edge technology to deliver design solutions with exceptional efficiency, precision, and impact. Our multidisciplinary team is united by a shared mission and brings extensive experience from roles including project management, senior design leadership, visualization, BIM management, and construction administration—expertise cultivated at some of the industry’s most respected firms.

With over 60 years of combined professional experience and nearly $900 million in built work, our approach is rooted in collaboration and contextual responsiveness. We design architecture that thoughtfully balances form, material, and experience, enriching both the built environment and the landscapes it inhabits.

As we continue to grow, our collective experience remains at the core of our practice—driving innovation, fostering strong client relationships, and shaping inspiring projects for the communities we serve.
