Parallel in Mission
• Condominium • Multi - Family Residential
Conceived for young couples and urban professionals, the Parallel in Mission is composed as two elegant wings unified by a central common space, forming a subtle bird-like silhouette in plan and elevation. This deliberate articulation creates both visual movement and functional clarity, with the shared core acting as the social and architectural heart of the building.
Sweeping rooflines and dramatic single-plane overhangs, clad in natural wood longboard, frame the composition and draw the eye toward the prominent main entry. These expansive gestures introduce a sense of lift and lightness, reinforcing the building’s dynamic form while providing shelter and scale at the pedestrian level.
Designed with contemporary urban living in mind, the Mission St. concept integrates seamlessly into its context through a harmonious blend of warm natural materials and expansive glazing. The interplay of wood and glass softens the modern lines, creating transparency, warmth, and connection to the surrounding streetscape. Its streamlined, wing-like façade expresses forward movement and modernity, yet the careful material selection and proportional balance maintain a respectful dialogue with the architectural character of the past.
The result is a refined residential statement—distinctive in form, intentional in function, and thoughtfully attuned to both its residents and its urban environment.
